KIM The Journey Begins
8.44pm Wednesday 23rd March.
Tomorrow I leave the UK to embark on an amazing journey to the Philipinnes to work for a week with Kids International Ministries
This being my first Missionary journey, I am taking lots of items to the village and orphanage. The bag has been packed, repacked, and packed again. The airline (China Airlines) has a baggage limit of 20 kilos (or so I thought) so going to Expedia to check in I find that actually it is 23 kilos , so back to repack and sort for a final time.
Clicked on the “Book Seat” tab, and yes, you guessed it, “no seating plan available” so check in it is at 05.30 tomorrow morning.
The return journey should be a lot easier with my bag which will be virtually empty as I have decided to donate all my stuff to the village.
Am looking forward to linking up with my friends, Frieda Mak, Roger Yung, Hector and Hiver in Hong Kong Friday afternoon then we embark to the Philipinnes Saturday morning …….
